This is a lovely bass to play and has the most sensible of pickup configurations ever fitted to a factory Mustang imho.

I’ve set the bass up presonally and it’s got a lovely low action.  Tones from tradition Precision bass, craking scooped slap/pick tones to honky Jaco-esque sounds from the bridge pickup.

My favourite combo of controls for a passive bass here – a three way pickup selector giving 3 huge instant tone changes, plus one volume and one tone.
